Mother Nature hasnt been playing ball with spectacular sunsets of late (at least where I have been anyway) but its still always nice to be out shooting.⁠

Where you position yourself in relation to the central subject can really make a huge difference to your overall image. The ever changing flow of water over sand can create some magic patterns, throw in some tannin/dirty water the results can be magic. Add in the evolution of drone photography and we now have access to a new top down perspective of mother nature at work. These were taken at Anderson Inlet in South Gippsland.

Paid a visit to my winter sunrise haunt earlier in the week with the expectation (aka hope) of some high cloud and a colourful sunrise. Well the morning was saved by the volcanic glow and a nice chat with a Mordialloc icon and fellow sunrise chaser @billsmythimages⁠ Its amazing how the colour can vary over a single sunrise.

Happy Friday!!!⁠ I haven't been out for sunrise

Happy Friday!!!⁠ I haven't been out for sunrise much in recent weeks and the earlier start to the day caught me off guard. As a result I missed most of the pre-dawn glow but Mother Nature was on my side and presented me with this beauty of a sunrise.⁠ Taken at one of my favourite winter morning spots, just a little earlier than normal. 😉⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ P.S.
